SRX2971150: Re-sequencing of Desulfovibrio vulgaris Hildenborough from Montana State University
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 1.7M spots, 499.4M bases, 281.5Mb downloads

Design: DvH-MT was received at the Montana State University from Terry C. Hazen in 2007 and is originally from the ATCC. It was sent to the University of Missouri in 2013. Genomic DNA was extracted with the Wizard® Genomic DNA Purification Kit (Promega Corp., Madison, WI) from 3 ml of a DvH-MT culture grown at 30 degrees Celcius to an optical density at 600 nm of 0.9 in Balch tubes containing 10 ml LS4D medium. Library was prepared and sequenced by the University of Missouri DNA Core (http://dnacore.missouri.edu/)

Study: Raw Sequence Reads from Re-sequencing of Desulfovibrio vulgaris Hildenborough
show Abstracthide Abstract
Re-sequencing of laboratory strains of Desulfovibrio vulgaris Hildenborough has identified lab-specific mutations, one of which results in a biofilm deficiency.
Sample: Anaerobic batch culture of Desulfovibrio vulgaris Hildenborough from Montana State University grown at 30 degrees Celcius in Balch tubes containing LS4D medium at pH 7.2
